What do the letters represent in the Score column of possible identifications?
Progenesis allows you to perform multiple searches using different parameters on the same data set. When multiple parameter sets have been used, a unique letter will be assigned to each so you can quickly review how an identification was found.
The letter, shown in a blue box, can be seen in the Score, Fragmentation score and Search Configuration columns in the Possible identifications table at Review Compounds and Identify Compounds.
If you hover over the letter, a tooltip will display giving the full details of the parameter set used to obtain that identification:
