What is the Progenesis Improvement Program?

To design our products, we gather direct customer feedback by conducting usability tests, surveys, focus groups, and other types of field research. However, it's impossible for us to contact all of our customers in person to get their feedback.

The Progenesis Improvement Program is designed to give all of our customers the ability to contribute to the design and development of our products. It collects information about how Progenesis QI is used by our customers and about some of the problems they encounter. We'll use this information to improve the product and features customers use most often and to help solve problems. Participation in the program is voluntary, and the end results are software improvements to better meet the needs of our customers.

How does the Progenesis Improvement Program work?

When you choose to participate in the program, your computer automatically collects information about how you use Progenesis QI. This information is combined with details about your computer, such as hardware specificiations and Windows version details, then sent to us to help improve the features customers use most often.

Will you collect information about other products on my computer?

No. The Progenesis Improvement Program collects information about only Progenesis QI.

Will I be contacted or receive spam if I participate?

The Progenesis Improvement Program will not be used to send you junk e-mail or ask you to participate in surveys. We will only ever contact you in extreme circumstances to offer free support e.g. to help you to use the software more efficiently. We expect this to be very rare.

If I choose to participate, can I opt out later?

Yes. You can use the command in the file menu of Progenesis QI (at the recent experiments screen) to start or stop participating at any time.

Is the Progenesis Improvement Program spyware?

No. Spyware can collect information or act on your computer without your full knowledge or consent. The Progenesis Improvement Program does not take actions other than those described above and you can choose to start or stop participating at any time.
